Terms of Use

Last updated 1 September 2026

The short version: the tool is free to use, including commercially. Icons you create are yours. The tool is provided as-is, with no warranty. Emoji and symbol artwork carries its own licence, described below.

Using the service

faviconflow is provided free of charge, for personal and commercial projects alike. No account is required. You may use it as often as you like.

What you create

We claim no ownership of the icons you generate, and no rights over any image, text, or other material you supply. You are responsible for holding the rights to whatever you put into the generator — do not upload artwork you are not entitled to use.

Third-party artwork

Two of the source modes draw on artwork licensed by others. When you use them, that licence travels with your download and applies to you.

Icons you build from an image, from text, or from your own SVG carry no such condition.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to produce material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that impersonates another organisation's branding in order to deceive.

Availability and third-party dependencies

The service may be unavailable, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice. Emoji and symbol artwork is fetched from a third-party network; if that network is unreachable, those two modes degrade or fail while the rest of the tool continues to work.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be free of defects or suitable for any particular use. You are responsible for checking that generated files work on the platforms you care about before publishing them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
